SSR holds annual elections each spring to select its new leadership. To be eligible, members must have been active in SSR for at least one year, be in good academic standing, and demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing undergraduate robotics at Stanford University.

The leadership team oversees the organization’s direction each year—managing sponsorships and partnerships, planning large-scale events like RoboFest, coordinating member onboarding and mentorship, and handling budgets and resources across all project teams.
